We are looking for a Senior Accountant for an international company with offices in Lund and Malmö. You will be part of a Nordic finance team responsible for accounting, reporting, and ongoing improvements within the financial processes.

- Responsible for ongoing accounting and quality assurance of transactions
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Account reconciliations and follow-up of balance sheet items
- Reporting according to local and group accounting principles
- Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed
- Prepare manual vouchers and payments
- Participate in improvement and automation projects within finance
- Support colleagues and internal stakeholders with financial analyses
- Actively contribute to the development of processes and routines

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in finance/accounting
- At least 5 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role
- Solid experience in closing work and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot, Lookups, etc.)
- Experience working in large ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Independent, structured, and confident in your skills

Meritorious

- Experience from an international environment or shared service center
- Knowledge in automation, data analysis, or process improvements
- Experience in CAPEX or project accounting
